The webinar offers an online opportunity for employers to learn about the impact of year-end financial and actuarial data on IMRF, and the data's estimated impact on individual employers. IMRF Executive Director Brian Collins and Chief Financial Officer Mark Nannini will conduct the webinar.

IMRF's 2020 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and associated documents will be available on IMRF's website by June 1. Your auditor will need these documents if your employer follows Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in its financial reporting.

The full IMRF Board of Trustees will meet by web conference on Friday, May 28 at 9 AM, in accordance with Executive Order 2021-09 and 5-ILCS 12/7(e). Multiple committee meetings will be held on Thursday, May 27.

Members of the public may attend these meetings.

A new Pension Impact Statements page explains the exemptions, processes, where to find additional information, and quick links to estimators.

By law, IMRF employers must Request a Pension Impact Statement from IMRF before increasing the earnings of officers, executives, or managers by 12% or more. The Pension Impact Statement will show your employer an estimate of the increase to the member’s future pension and an estimate of the additional cost your employer will have to pay when the member retires.
