I hope this email finds you safe. We are happy to have been spared by Hurricane Dorian, but our thoughts remain with those who were not as fortunate. As our area is no longer at risk of impacts from Dorian this will be our last weather-related communication update regarding the storm. Please visit

Below are some important updates regarding CSA services and operations:
Safety and Security Updates
- Please use caution on our roadways and leisure paths within Sea Pines as CSA continues working to clean up these areas following the storm. Please also be aware of the possibility of falling storm debris from above.
- Sea Pines gate pass sales will resume tomorrow morning (9/7/19) at 7 AM
- The following CSA offices will resume normal operating hours on Monday, Sept. 9th: The CSA Administration office, the Sea Pines ARB and the Sea Pines Community Center
- Boardwalks #11 and #12 will undergo repairs due to impacts from Hurricane Dorian beginning next week.
Closures: The following locations are currently closed due to impacts from Hurricane Dorian and should be avoided:
- Forest Preserve Parking Lot on Greenwood Drive is closed
- All Forest Preserve boardwalks are closed
- Fish Island Road is accessible, but we request that you do not drive beyond Fish Island.
- Rice Dyke Trail is closed
- Parcel One Beach Access is closed
Maintenance Updates
Storm Clean-Up Continues
CSA crews worked diligently to clear storm debris from roadways and drainage systems within the community yesterday and today following Hurricane Dorian. Storm clean up of CSA managed areas will continue through early next week.
CSA Neighborhood debris drop off sites are open following the storm
Neighborhood debris drop off sites are for Sea Pines Property Owners only, for debris that property owners collect from their private property.
Permitted items in the neighborhood debris drop off sites:
- Palm fronds, leaves, sticks, branches and vegetative debris (Trees or branches must be under 6 inches in diameter). Please note CSA does not have the ability to process material 6 inches and above.
Un-authorized items in the neighborhood debris drop off sites:
- The dumping of paper, plastic, metal, concrete, building materials, vegetative wood materials 6 inches and above or food waste are strictly prohibited.
An Important Message For Owners Who Utilize Commercial Landscapers:
Commercial landscapers must take the debris collected from Sea Pines property owner homes to the CSA Debris Recycling facility located off of Greenwood Drive near the main trolley lot. This location is open between the hours of 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. To assist, this location will be open on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 7:30 AM-4:00 PM to allow for debris drop-offs following the storm.
Commercial landscapers are NOT permitted to dump landscaping debris in the neighborhood drop sites or roadside within Sea Pines.
Landscape service providers caught dumping in non-authorized locations as noted above may be cited and escorted off of the Plantation.
How can owners help?
- Property Owners are asked to notify their landscape service provider of this restriction. CSA will also work to notify those landscape service providers that we have contact information for.
- To report unauthorized dumping, please contact Sea Pines security at 843.671.7170 and note the name of the landscaping company and location.
