ALASKA #156
CANCELLATION DISCOUNT YACHT-BASED LUXURY BLACKTAIL DEER
| | |
Due to a cancellation, this is a great opportunity for a luxury yacht-based Sitka deer hunt in southeast Alaska for this fall.
This Alaskan outfitter has 30 years of experience. He has an exclusive guide area in some of the finest Sitka deer, brown bear and black bear hunting on the planet. These deer hunts are conducted from a 70’ luxury yacht, where you will spend nights and enjoy 5-star meals. During the day, you will use multiple methods to hunt. They hunt multiple areas, either on Prince of Wales Island (famous for its B&C class blacktails) or the ABC Islands. Deer movements and habits are highly dependent upon time of year, the amount of snow fall, the rut activity and the hunt area. The rut typically kicks in around mid-November. There is a 2 deer limit per hunter, and they are normally 100% success most years. Duck hunting is also included.
| | |
The regular price of $10,500 per person has been discounted to just $7,500 per person 2x1. Airfare to Juneau, float plane charter to yacht (approx. $400 per person), and licenses/tags/permits (no draw!) are extra. There are 4 spots available.
Date: NOVEMBER 18-24, 2025 (a prime week for deer!)

MANITOBA #306
FLY-IN BIG CANADIAN BULL MOOSE
| | |
If you have dreamed of putting a big bull moose on the wall but Alaska or the Yukon is just not in the budget, you need to take a hard look at northern Manitoba. Simply put, this area produces some big bulls at about 1/3 the price of those other destinations!
This family-owned and operated outfitting business enjoys a high percentage of repeat clients. Their fly-in moose hunts are based out of cabin or tent camps on various remote lakes in northern Manitoba, which makes resident hunting pressure almost non-existent. You will be the only hunters on the lake, and hunting is via small motorized boats, with lots of calling and listening for lovesick bulls at strategic locations.
| | |
This season is full, and they already have just a few spots remaining for 2026 (this hunt is that good!). This 6-day hunt is $14,000 USD per person 2x1 or $17,000 USD per person 1x1. Price includes round trip air transport from Thompson, and also includes moose, bear, wolf and fishing licenses. There are no trophy fees, and you may harvest a black bear or wolf for no extra charge!
DATES: Late September thru early October 2026

WYOMING #96
HORSEBACK TROPHY MULE DEER
| | |
This is an absolute first class multi-species outfitter in NW Wyoming. Previous mule deer hunters we’ve sent there called it “the best overall package with an outfitter than I have hunted with!” In fact, his previous clients all speak very highly of him, and he’s been featured on outdoors TV many times. We consider his mule deer hunts to be one of the best values around.
These are fully-guided horseback hunts near Yellowstone Park’s eastern boundary, but you stay at their modern lodge and ride out each morning. You will see some gorgeous country and have a true wilderness experience, while enjoying home cooking and a warm bed each night. You will hunt migrating mule deer in the late pre-rut. Horses take much of the pain out of accessing the back country to find those big old boys, however, this is a physical hunt, and hunters must be in shape and able to withstand the cold and snow that causes the deer to move to lower elevations at that time of year.
Normally these hunts are close to 100% opportunity on mature bucks in the 160-inch and up range. Yes, you can shoot a monster here, but realistically you should be able to harvest a mature buck in the 155- to 170-inch class, as these hunts have historically been high-success. The hunt area is in Deer Region F, and you should be able to draw a SPECIAL LICENSE WITH ZERO PREFERENCE POINTS!, so call us now to book your 2026 hunt!
| | |
Pricing for 2026 should be finalized soon, but we expect approx. $7,500 per person 2x1 or $8,500 per person 1x1, including meals and lodging, for a 4-day hunt.
2026 DATES: Late-October to early November

ALASKA #267
TROPHY CARIBOU AND GRIZZLY
| | |
Good caribou hunts are getting very hard to find, but this outfitter hunts both Barren Ground caribou and grizzly bears, with very good success. The caribou hunts take place along the north slope of the famous Brooks Range. The area is home to over 200,000 animals and this outfitter is permitted to hunt it from end to end (approx. 40,000 square miles). And the Western Arctic Herd’s summer range and calving grounds are in the heart of this outfitter’s area, so there is normally no shortage of animals. However, caribou can move 20 miles overnight, so no caribou hunt is a sure thing, but this outfitter has over 35 years of experience there and normally does very well. You also have the option of taking a grizzly if you see one, and often there is some world class fishing available as well.
Hunts are 7 days (5 hunting days) and you can choose either a traditional “hiking” hunt that entails climbing nearby ridges each day to glass for animals, or a more mobile “raft” hunt (not a float hunt), where you hunt from a motorized Zodiac boat each day, allowing you to cover much more territory (130 river miles/day!). You stay in the same camp regardless of which hunt you choose.
| | |
Hunts are $16,900 per person 2x1 or $19,900 per person 1x1. You can add grizzly on a trophy fee basis for $12,500. Approx. $2,100 per person round trip charter flights between Fairbanks and Umiat is extra (once in Umiat, cost of bush plane flight to camp is included).

SOUTH AFRICA #256
HOSTED HUNT! FREE RANGE PLAINS GAME SAFARI
| | | | |
This is an opportunity to join Hunt Nation’s Don Sangster on a free range plains game safari in South Africa in late May/early June 2026 (exact dates to be set based on your schedule)
Most experienced hunters will tell you that there is no better place in Africa for variety and abundance of plains game species than South Africa, and that there is no better value for your safari dollar. But ALL of South Africa is high-fenced, right? WRONG! We work with a premier outfitter in South Africa that is entirely FREE RANGE, and over 1.2 million acres/1,800 sq. miles of it at that, in different areas of the country. All species hunted (about 35 in total) are indigenous, wild and self-sustaining. In addition to plains game, their concessions have Cape buffalo and elephant as well. They also offer muzzleloader and bowhunting, and even some upland birds and waterfowl. They even have fishing, and some great sightseeing and eco tours for the whole family.
This outfitter hunts 3 main areas, and this hunt will take place in their Umko Valley concession, in KwaZulu Natal Province (although hunting from more than one camp can certainly be arranged). The game here inhabit the dense indigenous forests and rolling hills of this 150,000-acre conservancy. Southern greater kudu, nyala, bushbuck, Cape eland, reedbuck, waterbuck, wildebeest and zebra are just some of the plains game species available. The camp is a traditional luxury tented camp on the banks of a river, with en suite chalets, electric blankets, and indoor and outdoor showers, all of which contribute to a great atmosphere and overall experience.
| | |
There are 2 ways to structure your safari.
-
Pay a daily rate and then pay a trophy fee for each species taken. Daily rates are only $400/day per person 1x1 or $300/day per person 2x1. Trophy fees start as low as $250.
- Allow us to put together an all-inclusive package for you based on your most desired species. Packages normally offer a discount on the trophy fees included in the package, but the package price is fixed whether or not you bag all the species contained in the package.

ALASKA #177
YACHT-BASED BROWN BEAR
| | |
This is as good as it gets for hunting brown bears in luxury, and this outfitter is often booked out years in advance (that speaks volumes!), but does have some openings.
You will be hunting the famous ABC islands (Admirality, Baranof and Chicagof) for brown bears. Hunts take place from yachts that serve as base camp, from which hunting areas are accessed by 16’-18’ skiffs.
Spring bear hunting in southeast Alaska begins in mid-April, extending into mid-June. Hunting is spot & stalk style, as bears emerging from their winter dens venture to the shorelines and grass flats in search of new plant growth, kelp and small crustaceans. Hunters should be able to walk at least 2 miles over slick, uneven ground. Shooting distances typically are under 100 yards. You will be targeting bears 9ft or better, and the outfitter’s average is 9.5ft+ with 27+” skulls. They regularly take B&C bears, including 2 this year that went All-Time B&C!
| | |
Price is $50,000 per person 1x1 for a 10-day hunt. A black bear (often the size of grizzlies!) can be added for a trophy fee of $5,000. If you book 4 hunters at a time, you will have the whole yacht to yourselves.
