Hope this email finds you well and not experiencing problems from downed trees or flooding, etc. after yesterday's shocking, and sadly not surprising, weather.
Before moving to my usual list of items I'd like to acknowledge the harsh reality that some ofour fellow Brooklynites
are still without power. So, again if you do lose power please report it to Con Ed via the web or by phone at (800)752-6633. If you'd like to make a claim for reimbursement against Con Ed fill out this form. Also, if you see a clogged catch basin please report it here.
Anyway, on to my daily attempt at an enlightening list.......
The "Pokey' and "Schleppie" awards , for slowest bus service, were announced today. You may recall that these "awards" were mentioned during the Straphangers Campaign presentation at our June Transportation/ Public Safety Committee meeting.
New York City is looking to stop the sale of cell phone data while declawing cats is now illegal throughout the Empire State.
Alternate Side Parking rules will be in effect tomorrow, Wednesday July 24th. Parking meters will also be in effect. If you don't want to read to this point in future email feel free to use this handy calendar.
