This is a 2-day class. To sign up you MUST have and know how to use your Tucker Wedge Star Tool. In other words, you must have been in our previous Tucker University Class. For the two-day instruction, Sharon will guide you through making these blocks and get you well on your way to finishing this beauty! Collage in quilting is a layering of fabrics to create and design a one of a kind quilt. This style of quilt making allows you to be creative with a wide variety of fabric prints you will choose to fit your own personal style. It's fun and lets you exercise your imagination! You will choose between three different patterns, each containing three different patterns. During this class, Debbie will teach you the easy process of creating a small collage quilt. You can use your newly acquired skills to make lots more of these unique and beautiful quilts!

Crazy Quilt Class Always wanted to make a Crazy Quilt? Create crazy blocks with the templates in this Creative Grids set. All of the pieces can be cut from those odd sized scraps in your stash or choose your favorite line. The tips are trimmed when needed so the pieces sew together perfectly every time. Embellish the seams, if desired, with your favorite decorative stitches and threads. Make an entire quilt or sew them into a scrappy, decorative border. "Goodnight Irene" has become one of our very favorite quilts! We first made this beauty in our Sassy Scrappers Club. It became so popular with staff and customers. Then we got a few requests to have a class. So here ya go! Join us to learn a fun way to create those 16 patch blocks and create either a real scrappy quilt or maybe a little more controlled quilt using your favorite line. We are expecting lots of beautiful new fabric! The delivery dates were supposed to begin in July and that didn't happen. We DID get a beautiful line in from Moda by Basic Grey called "Boudoir". Hopefully we will start seeing more fabric coming through the door!

THE FIRST EVER All Carolinas Shop Hop! We even have our OWN fabric line!!!!!

Then there's THE MAGAZINE! Keep your eyes out for an announcement about THE MAGAZINE! We will gladly ship one to you when ours arrive. You can also stop by the shop to get your All Carolinas Shop Hop Magazine. It features everything you need for your Great Sewing Adventures Across the Carolinas. Many of our stores will also be selling the magazine online. Magazines will be available in August at participating stores. Besides an Official Passport and Map of Stores, the magazine contains patterns, articles and other resources for sewing and quilting. The magazine notes special Shop Hop store hours and Regional and State maps that make it easy to plan your route. Each person in your party will need a passport in order to register for prizes. You’ll want to reference your magazine all year. Use it to find a quilt shop whenever you are meandering through the Carolinas. Be inspired by the patterns, projects and articles!

The name is similar to our Carolina Shop Hop but this is a brand new event! The "All Carolinas Shop Hop" spans throughout all of North Carolina and South Carolina. The NEW Freshman class of Tucker University began this week. We LOVE those tools and learning how to be more accurate quilters!

One fabulous, fun, and friendly quilt shop business for sale! Sassy Stitches has been my heart for 5 years now. I have made lifelong friendships and learned so much from all of you. My goal was to have a bright, friendly place for quilters to gather and fellowship, sew, and have tons of fun. It is a happy place where we care about each other and learn together. The craziness that began in 2020 in our nation caused us to close for 6 weeks and of course that had an impact on my business. As we reopened after that 6 weeks, business slowly but surely has been picking up! We are in the middle of our 2021 Carolina Shop Hop and business is booming! Over the last five years, we have grown our customer base and the numbers show a substantial increase in business from the previous owner. The new owner of this business will be stepping into a nice setup! We have everything ready for the first ever "All Carolinas Shop Hop" coming up in October and November. Your customer base is established and solid. I will be available to the new owner(s) to help if the new owner(s) so desires. I might even want to teach a little! This business gets into your heart and soul. The people! Oh my goodness the people. We have cried with widows, we have prayed with those facing illness, we have rejoiced for new babies, and we have loved on many of you as we share in your quilting adventures and personal lives. You have also loved on us and it has been one of the most rewarding times of my life. Should you be interested in becoming the new owner of this awesome quilt shop, please respond to this email with your contact information.
