Kids are going back to school and it's time for Farm Fest Weekend at Hilltop Farm!

The Harvest Dinner and Silent Auction at Hilltop Farm have become a major
end-of-summer event for the community! Guests enjoy a gathering that is fun
and like no other in the area. The event is also FOFAH's major fundraiser to
continue the restoration of the historic farmstead.







      
We are thrilled to welcome back Out The Boxx, a great dance band from Hartford.
Also back for a second year, Chez Josef of Agawam will be catering the meal.

Additionally, the evening includes a huge Silent Auction with goods and services from local artists and artisans. There is always something for everyone!

Gates open at 4:30 PM. Come and walk the grounds, see the antique farm equipment and check out the beautiful vistas, and get a head start on the silent auction!

 
 
 
It's Time for Farm Fest 2018



Come join us for a fun day at Hilltop Farm on Labor Day, Monday, September 3, 2018.
This free, family-friendly event is held from 10am-3pm. 

Each year more than 1,000 people visit the farm for FOFAH's celebration of the region's vibrant agricultural heritage!



Highlights include:
 
Julie Anne Collier's 'Wingmasters', program of North American Birds of Prey.  

Adam Harris of  "Harris in Wonderland" will show reptiles and amphibians from around the world.

Free pony rides with AJ Stables.
 
 
Triple F Farm will be back this year with their "pet ting farm", featuring goats, chickens, a pig, and bunnies! As a 4-H family, the Fenoff's are experienced in showing their small animals.
 
 
 
Enjoy watching  Jeff Bellefleur demonstrate the art of chainsaw carving! 


There will be contests, including the popular skillet and hay bale tosses, and the great tug of war event!

Of course, the  Tractor Parade is at noon.
          All tractors welcome!

For refreshments, there will be great food trucks including Knockout Dogs, Joe's Yellow Sub Machine, Jeff's Kettle Korn and Nana's Ice Cream. 
 
 
 
 
 
This is an event for the whole family. The admission for Farm Fest 2018 is free, but a $5 donation per car is requested.

We look forward to sharing Hilltop Farm with the community at Farm Fest 2018. Come and make a new fun memory.

Each year we lay out 375 plots in a big "bingo" board in front of the calf barn at Hilltop Farm. Then on Labor Day we turn a cow loose on the board to pick a winner!
