Greetings!

WOW!! This weekend is the last summer market of 2026. How did that go so fast?

I said earlier this summer that I wanted fall to come. Fall is here and I would like it to slow down now. The weather has been beautiful this past month. We have had good moisture too and yes there has been snow on the top of the mountains but thankfully not here.

We have been trying to find the last of the cattle. The fire pressure has scattered them farther than normal years. They are chasing the new green grass that has started to come in the burned area. Before it burned, there was a lot of country that the cattle would not go because it was heavy timber. Now they will walk through looking for the new tender green shoots. Black cows are hard to see from a plane in the black burn.
