WELCOME THE REV. DR. ROBIN R. WOODBERRY

It is with tremendous joy and excitement that we welcome Rev. Dr. Robin R. Woodberry as our new Rector beginning today. This has been an extensive process of over two years. We conducted a national search which led us to this place. She was unanimously recommended by the search committee and unanimously elected by the Vestry. We invite and encourage everyone to stay for a welcome luncheon, in the Parish Hall, immediately following the 10am worship service.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION FOR CHILDREN is held each week during 10 am worship service. We use the Montessori-based curriculum, Godly Play. Interested children (K-5) are welcomed to join in the procession. Children return to the Sanctuary during The Peace so they may join their families for Holy Eucharist.

Tiffany's foot surgery 2/28/2025

Just a quick update. Tiffany's foot operation was successfully done.

Tiffany is currently in the hospital and is requesting no visitors yet.

THE PRAYER PARTNER GROUP: will meet on Saturday March 1, 2025 at 11am in the church library. We will reveal who prayed for who and pick a name to pray for someone this year. Please no gifts. If anything, a card with a message of thanks is good enough.

RUMMAGE SALE:

Steve Watts advised that rummage sale items can now be brought in and please place them near the handicap door near the parish hall. Rummage sale is April 4^th from 8 til 5 and April 5^th.from 9 to 3. If you are able to help please let Steve Watts or the office know about it. Keep bringing in your stuff!

SHROVE TUESDAY: The Brotherhood will host our Annual Pancake Supper on this coming Tuesday, March 4, from 5-7pm. All are welcome...Invite a friend. There will be a free-will offering.

ASH WEDNESDAY

Ash Wednesday liturgies will be held this coming Wednesday, March 5, at 10am and 5:30 pm in the Chapel. Please join us as we begin observing this holy season of Lent.

Compline means “completion” and is an ancient rite of prayers to end the day. Providing peace and stillness as one week ends and another begins, Christ Church’s 40-minute Compline service is unique in that all who enter are asked to hold a candle as the choir beautifully sings these nighttime prayers in song. Each week, different solo instrumentalists will provide music for meditation. The darken church is lit with over 200 candles. All are welcome.
