I’m Ellen Schwartz, Chair, WILPF Nominating Committee – here to remind you: We welcome more people to step up to help guide WILPF in the next 1-3 years! Now is the time to send in actual applications, with bios, cv’s, letters of recommendation, and campaign statements. The deadline for applications and additional documents is Saturday, Oct 12, 2024, at 11 pm in your local time zone.

The positions open are for full three-year terms or for completion of partially remaining terms as shown:
- President (or a team of two co-presidents): full term, ends January 2028
- Secretary: partial term, ends January 2027
- Membership Development Committee Chair: partial term, ends January 2026
- Development Committee Chair (or a team of two Co-Chairs) full term, ends January 2028
- One Program Committee Chair (George Friday currently serves as the other Program Committee Chair; these are not co-chairs and terms are not simultaneous): partial term, ends January 2027
- Nominating Committee Chair: full term, ends January 2028
- One At-Large Board member with full participation rights: full term, ends January 2028
(All these Board terms begin with the January 2025 Board meeting):
To serve on the Board, you must be a current member of WILPF US and must have been a member for at least twenty-four months out of the prior thirty months preceding the elections.
