Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals
Weekly Update
 February 20, 2019
There were no published or unpublished cases involving labor or employment law cases last week.

In a published non-labor case that may be of some interest, Democratic Executive Committee of Florida v. Lee , Case No. 18-14758 (February 15, 2019), the Court, by a 2-1 decision, denied the appellant/intervenor National Republican Senatorial Committee’s emergency motion for stay as to the preliminary injunction granted by Judge Mark Walker requiring notice and additional time for curing for mail voters and provisional voters whose ballots had been deemed invalid due to non-matching signatures in Florida’s 2018 general election for U.S. Senate.
The Eleventh Circuit Weekly Update was prepared by Reemployment Assistance Appeals Commission staff: case summaries by Chairman Frank E. Brown, and Appellate Counsel Cristina A. Velez and Katie E.
