Cento Between the Ending and the End
by Cameron Awkward-Rich
Sometimes you don’t die
when you’re supposed to
& now I have a choice
repair a world or build
a new one inside my body
a white door opens
into a place queerly brimming
gold light so velvet-gold
it is like the world
hasn’t happened
when I call out
all my friends are there
everyone we love
is still alive gathered
at the lakeside
like constellations
my honeyed kin
honeyed light
beneath the sky
a garden blue stalks
white buds the moon’s
marble glow the fire
distant & flickering
the body whole bright-
winged brimming
with the hours
of the day beautiful
nameless planet. Oh
friends, my friends—
bloom how you must, wild
until we are free

Congratulations Class of 2021
It's been a long, tough year and a half. And yet. Our graduating class of 2021 will be walking this Tue, Jun 15 at memorial stadium. Every single one of them. 100% of this class made it to the finish line. Huge thanks to Dr. Casey and Ms. Hayes and all the staff at TCS for the personalized support that helped every member of this senior class make it to graduation. And huge kudos to each one of these graduates for digging deep and getting themselves there. Hats off to you all!

Thank You Outgoing and Incoming CSCA Board Members
A huge thank you to Malinda, Angie, Rosina, Frank, and Molly for their dedicated service to the CSCA and TCS over the years. We are grateful and you will be sorely missed!
Thank you also to those of you who have stepped up to fill those roles and expand our committee positions so we can better support our community. We're looking forward to a productive year in 2021/22. We will announce our 2021/22 board members and committee chairs in the fall.
If you are interested in becoming involved with the CSCA community, look for more information from the CSCA in the fall. The entire CSCA community is always welcome at parent/guardian and board meetings.

Feel free to download, and share with friends and family. WITS is committed to continuing to find innovative ways to celebrate student writing and to elevate student voice into the world, in whatever format circumstances demand. The need for youth voice, and writing that places a high emphasis on students’ social emotional well-being, identity, and shared humanity could not be higher in this moment.

Thank You from Mr. Alex to the CSCA
I want to take a moment to publicly shout out my deep appreciation for TCS parents and their generous support of the visual arts program these past four years. I would not have been able to fund the breadth of media and art experiences that have been so important to visual arts program without your support. Pictured in this post is just a fraction of the supplies CSCA has funded. Thank you so much!
Peace,
Mr. Alex

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)
Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining"!

MOHAI Youth Advisors
MYA is a powerful way to help guide the museum in what teens want and need. Youth advisors make the museum more welcoming for their peers by finding fun and creative ways to connect teens with MOHAI, and providing input on the development of museum programming and exhibits. MYA is teen-driven; youth advisors work together to choose and build their own projects and activities. MYA also interact with MOHAI staff to learn more about the behind-the-scenes work of a museum and dive deeper into local history. This team of twelve high school students meet regularly from September-June and are offered a monthly stipend. Apply now for the 2021–22 school year.
