In a complex industry that is changing and evolving, HCRA will set the standard for a modern regulator with a clear mandate to protect consumers – while working with builders and vendors to improve the quality of new home construction in Ontario and improve confidence in buying a new home.

The HCRA is now seeking a Chief Executive Officer/Registrar to lead this new regulatory authority. Working with a growing team of approximately 40 staff and an engaged Board of Directors, the CEO/Registrar will ensure the highest professional standards for competence and conduct in the home building industry, promoting a fair and informed marketplace where consumers can be confident in their new home purchases. The CEO/Registrar will provide vision, strategic leadership and management oversight to the organization. More specifically, the CEO/Registrar will be responsible for all compliance activities including licensing decisions and complaint resolution.
