Located in Calgary, Alberta, the Canada Energy Regulator serves as an independent energy lifecycle regulator responsible for federally regulated pipelines and power lines, energy development and trade.
Under the Canadian Energy Regulator Act, the Canada Energy Regulator has a Chief Executive Officer who is appointed by the Governor in Council. The Chief Executive Officer has the rank, powers and accountabilities of a Deputy Head. The Chief Executive Officer:
- provides effective management of the Canada Energy Regulator and ensures strategic alignment between the Commission, the Board of Directors, and management;
- manages the Regulator’s day-to-day business and affairs, including the supervision of its employees and their work;
- provides technical and administrative support and resources to the Board of Directors and the Commission; and
- collaborates with other federal partner organizations, including supporting the Commissioners in their work with the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada to ensure they are well informed and can effectively undertake single, integrated project reviews for “designated projects.”

The College of Early Childhood Educators (the College) regulates the more than 53,000 members of the early childhood education profession in the public interest, pursuant to the Early Childhood Educators Act, 2007. The College issues Certificates of Registration, has established a Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice for the profession, and responds to concerns about members through a complaints and discipline process. The College is a not-for-profit organization with a staff of 65 and an annual operating budget of approximately $10M.
We are seeking a collaborative, responsive, fluid bilingual communicator (English and French) accountable for communicating the purpose, values and activities of the College to the public, members and stakeholders through print and digital communications. As a brand ambassador, this position will provide communication advice to other departments in order to uphold the brand, tone and communications style of the College.

RECA’s mandate is to protect consumers, and to provide services that enhance and improve the industry and the business of industry professionals.
The Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA) is seeking a Professional Conduct Review Officer (investigator) to fill a 1-year term. As a Professional Conduct Review Officer, and, on behalf of the executive director, you will investigate possible breaches of the Real Estate Act by objectively gathering all relevant facts and safeguarding evidence.

The COO is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership of the Council’s Finance, Human Resources and Operational services through clear direction, guidance and oversight into all operations of the organization.

ICCRC is looking to build and strengthen its Tribunal Committee in support of our mandate to investigate and resolve concerns and complaints about members, balancing public protection with a fair and objective process. The main objective of our Tribunal Committee is to resolve or hear cases regarding professional conduct and capacity issues. Each hearing panel will include a Vice-Chair and two Tribunal Members who will make the decision.

ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

The Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC) is the national regulatory body that promotes and protects the public interest by overseeing regulated immigration consultants and international student advisors. Reporting to the Director of Finance (DOF), the Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for analyzing and maintaining ICCRC’s financial records, financial reporting, internal control testing and compliance and the Council’s accounting system. The Accounting Supervisor will also be responsible for developing and implementing our internal control systems and procedures. Our ideal candidate is a strong and effective communicator with a strong background in supervision and internal controls.
