Hello Sherwood Parents!!

Our Sherwood Archers have been given the task of providing the most important meal of the day: Breakfast!
We need non-perishable items such as: boxed cereals, granola bars, protein bars, peanut butter, oatmeal, canned or dried fruits, etc.
Our children will be competing by grade level to see who can bring in the most food for bragging rights and non-monetary prizes!
Please help a great cause that benefits the entire Forest Hills School District!!  We will have collection boxes set up starting Monday October 8th so help us make this another successful Sherwood effort!!
Box Tops!!!

I will be collecting Box Tops until the 3rd week of October.

Please send them in a ziplock baggie with your grade level/teacher name. There are white bins located in each grade level area, with a box top label on it.
I must have all box tops sent (postmarked) by October 31st.

The grade level with the most box tops will earn a special pajama day!

Keep clipping, and continue sending them in! Pay close attention to expiration dates, it is a daunting task to sort through them. (And count them!!!)

Every box top counts! Thank you for your participation!

We are  so excited about the success of our Birthday Bundle initiative that began last June! Most of us take our birthday cake for granted and don't realize that many kids in our area aren't able to have one.

We decided to partner with St. Joe's Orphanage to give their kids something sweet on their special day.

Thanks to generous donations last year we have been able to supply roughly 120 of their children with ingredients to bake their own birthday cake, and a gift card to Target or Walmart to choose a birthday gift last year - and we are hoping to help all of them celebrate AGAIN this year - but we need your help!

Please learn more about this initiative & how you can donate ingredients by clicking on the sign up below.

School Fees and Lunch Accounts
EZPay is how Forest Hills families pay school fees and add lunch money to a child's account. Yes, public education is mostly free, but there are a few additional expenses that parents are responsible for paying.

The fees collected stay at Sherwood. So, skipping out on paying fees means all the students at Sherwood are affected by the lack of money for resources.
New to Forest Hills? There is an option to "Create an Account."
Once logged in, you can pay student fees and add money to lunch accounts. Parents can even view the Meal Transaction History if they need to keep a closer eye on what their children are purchasing at lunch. Lunch balances can also be checked at any time and additional money can be added to a child's account.

Did you take pictures at a Sherwood event?

Please share them with the Sherwood Yearbook Team. Your pictures could end up in the 2018-2019 Yearbook!

We kindly ask that you:
1. Please put what event you're sending in the subject.
2. Send pictures as "actual size". They will get blurry and we won't be able to use them if they are not actual size.
3. Limit the number of photos you send. We want your best shots!

Need to see that again?
