Be sure your information is correct by checking here and emailing Amy with any updates.
In addition to intriguing stories and area photography that highlight the best of Blount County, Basically Blount also includes a finger-indexed, color-coded directory and buyer's guide of all Chamber members. The Dialogue

This feature is a question-and-answer session with a new Blount County Chamber member. So here we go with our 65th installment visiting with Mitch Parker, Owner/Partner of Safety Express LLC which provides industrial safety equipment along with Carhartt work wear.
Describe what you do. Our office and warehouse is stocked with everything to keep you and your employees safe, from hard hats & work gloves, to safety glasses. We only carry the brands you know will make the best protection equipment such as 3M, DuPont, Kimberly-Clark, MSA, Gatorade, Ergodyne, Honeywell-North and more because your safety is as important to us as it is to you. Safety Express is also excited to carry the best work wear available, made by Carhartt.
How did you get started? The owners of Safety Express have personal and business relationships that were developed by working together in the radiological and environmental fields for 35 years. We wanted to take our experience and provide an unmatched service to customers and build long lasting relationships built on service and integrity.
What is your background? Safety Express has been in business for 12 years and the partnership has over 75 years of hands-on experience in the industrial and nuclear safety environments.
Describe your customers. We have a wide variety of customers that include all companies that provide safety and personal protective equipment to ensure the safety of their employees.
Name three things you wish you knew when you started. I underestimated the amount of time, money, and competition that would be involved when starting a small business.
What do you enjoy most about your business? The long term friendships and business relationships you develop while helping each other be successful.
