Foundation News: May 2023
Covid Recovery Grant applications due June 10

ATTENTION PASTORS: were you financially impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic? Are you a minority pastor OR working in an under-served/rural area? The Foundation wants to help YOU with a $500 grant! As part of Wespath's Clergy Financial Well-Being Initiative, we are offering a limited number of grants to pastors in Iowa.

You can submit an online or paper application; yours must be submitted by June 10 to be considered. Recipients must plan to continue to serve the United Methodist Church. All applicants will be notified by early July on whether they will receive a grant.
New certificate rates announced

To compete in today's rate environment, the Foundation's Building Fund Trust increased certificate rates starting May 1st.

We now offer 1, 3 and 5 year certificates all over 4.00%! Most banks require a large commitment to get rates like this, but we accept a minimum investment of $1,000. The Trust accepts investments from churches OR individuals, making this a truly unique investment opportunity.
