The aim of this course is to provide each candidate with the knowledge needed to safely and correctly operate a Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) along with a Signal Generator (GENNY) when tracing underground services. The course consists of theoretical and practical training involving hands on use of the actual locators to detect and trace the route of buried services. This will cover the different types of buried services that exist, current legislation concerning detecting buried services, the safety implications of not using a locator plus ancillary locating work to be done (use of cable plans, observation of evidence in the street etc.)
This course is accredited by Kentec Training, and each candidate who successfully completes the course will receive a Kentec Training Photo ID Card and Certificate.

The PASMA Towers For Users Course is aimed at giving FULL competence in assembling, altering, inspecting, moving and dismantling mobile towers. We can instruct up to a maximum of 12 delegates, and is designed to provide training on mobile access towers manufactured in aluminium alloy or fibreglass, approved to BS EN 1004: 2004 and which carry a current British Standard or other equivalent mark of approval.
Upon successfully passing both the written and practical assessments, each delegate's details will be entered on to the PASMA central database and a Certificate of Competency and a Photo-ID Card will be issued that is valid for . All delegates will also receive a copy of the PASMA Course Notes, PASMA Code of Practice and Tower Assembly Instructions.
