Over the last 56 years, we’ve helped develop the next generation into caring, responsible citizens.
Now through December 31, your donation will ensure that kids and families in this community continue to have access to the vital programming, learning support, and positive peer and adult influences necessary to achieve their great futures.
Give the next generation the support they need most. They are truly our greatest gift.

We're Raising Our Roofs!
Construction is underway on the roof at our Harper Clubhouse. All HVAC units are off the roof and demo is in progress! The roofs at our three largest facilities (Harper, Griset & Polster) are all original, some dating back as early as 1969, and they are all in desperate need of repair.
More information and/or a link to donate towards our Raise the Roof campaign can be found on our website.

Robotics Success for Our Harper Clubhouse Teens | |
As the first ever Boys & Girls Clubs of San Dieguito team to enter the robotics Tech Challenge on November 19th, "Team Bandits" placed 7th out of 17 teams!
Our teens' success is a result of a weekly partnership with STEM2Leaf Robotics, led by local robotics volunteers from Team GarageBot. The partnership fosters real life skills such as programming, engineering, and leadership.
Although their dream of competing was realized, the robotics season is just getting started. Team Bandits continues to work hard to optimize their robot and learn how to reach their goals through collaboration!

Celebrating Staff at Annual Holiday Party
Our Staff: the heartbeat of our organization, the change-makers, the listening-ears, the ones paving the path and building GREAT FUTURES for the youth in our community. NONE of what we do is possible without them. They dedicate their time, energy, and hearts each and every day.
On December 9, our Annual Staff Holiday Party took place at Power House Community Center in Del Mar. The celebration featured door prizes, a Hawaiian BBQ and a prize raffle that is second to none! Many, many thanks to our Board of Directors who once again provided gifts, prizes and funding to ensure that all in attendance felt appreciated and valued. Hip Hip Hooray!

Partner With Us For a Group Service Project
Thanks to Aha! Roadmap Software volunteers, the gardens at our Griset and Del Mar Clubhouses received some extra care. Through this group volunteer project, Aha! staff members pulled weeds, added new soil to the beds, and planted flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables. They donated $300 plus supplies and a lot of elbow grease! Our Club Kids will enjoy maintaining the gardens and reaping the rewards from its bounty. We are grateful for Aha! and their generous gifts of time, talent, and treasure!
If you are interested in organizing a group service project with us, contact us at volunteer@bgcsandieguito.org.
