SE MA Network Represented at STEM Summit Presentation
"Pipelines to Prosperity" was the theme of the 15th annual Massachusetts STEM Summit on November 14. This year's Summit showcased programs, innovations, and approaches being developed and used across the Commonwealth to nurture curiosity, motivation, and achievement in STEM areas.  Panel presentations, plenary speakers, and exhibitors facilitated opportunities for networking with like-minded STEM colleagues and enthusiasts.

Our network's own executive director, Dr. Stacey Kaminski, participated in a session entitled: "Exciting Students in STEM: STEM Week Reflections and Lessons Learned." She and fellow STEM Week hosts, including educators, industry, and non-profit leaders, discussed strategies for building interest and excitement in STEM subjects, and specifically, how they planned STEM Week activities that galvanized students' attention and energy. The session also looked ahead to STEM Week 2019, as participants discussed lessons learned and their ideas on how to make STEM Week successful in years to come.
