Closer to home, the work of San Jose's  Raj Jayadev  of Silicon Valley Debug is a short documentary that gives a glimpse of the power of being "my brother's keeper" as a defense attorney in the SF Public Defender's office, Jacque (pronounced Jac-coo) Wilson leads the charge on the behalf of his father, Vietnam Veteran Mack Wilson, his brother attorney Jacq Wilson, and their family to save his little brother Neko Wilson via CA State Senator Nancy Skinner's SB 1437.  Charged with a double murder, he did not commit, Neko was saved from the death penalty or life in prison.  See the New York Times Article on the case .
