Hello and Happy Monday!

The year's first ASA Midwest Tour Super Late Model event at Slinger Super Speedway in Wisconsin and the first leg of the Road to the Snowflake Pro Late Model four-pack at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Fla., were among the headline shows in pavement Late Model racing this weekend. Those results and everything else that happened in our favorite short-track classes make up our weekly Monday Digest.

A pair of doubleheaders provided some of the best action. In New Hampshire, Brandon Barker (32) and Gabe Brown (inset photo from Jimmy Wiggin Speedway Images) finished 1-2 and 2-1 in the Pro All Stars Series and American-Canadian Tour at Lee USA Speedway. And most of the zMax CARS Tour shows are twinbills with Late Model Stock Cars and Pro Late Models; Landen Lewis staged a furious comeback from an early penalty and won after a stiff battle with Conner Jones in the LMSC event at Caraway Speedway in Sophia, N.C.

The familiar names up front from this weekend's major events included Jake Finch at Five Flags, Ty Majeski at Slinger, Austin Hull at Berlin Raceway in Michigan, and Alan Cress at Wenatchee Valley Super Oval in Washington. The most notable first-timer was probably Jeremy Sorel in the Granite State Pro Stock Series.

All of the results of big shows and weekly-level competition, plus a smattering of photos and story links where available, are below these advertiser messages. Scroll down to see it all!

In two days, our Wednesday Winners edition should be loaded. We plan to check in with both Lee race winners, two veterans in Maine, Hull and one other winner from Berlin, two young standouts in Virginia, and something which Florida icon Wayne Anderson has surprisingly never done. We'll find another exclusive or two for Friday Features as well.

To continue seeing LMD releases in your email box, you'll need to subscribe at a cost of $30 per year. The cost winds up being about 27-28 cents per release.

And once you subscribe, we encourage suggestions from subscribers on topics for Thursday Throwback and Friday Features articles (Wednesday Winners subjects are more obvious). We'll also get you caught up on any you may have missed since the start of April.

Those wishing to subscribe may send checks to the address at the bottom of this email. We are also set up on Zelle and Venmo; please contact me for that information at this email address, jimcarsonlmd@gmail.com. PayPal is also an option but we'd have to email you an invoice. We will do our best to make it worth the $30 per year for the subscription.

Have a great week, and thank you for supporting Late Model Digest!
