Hello and Happy Monday!

Here's the report on all of the happenings in pavement Late Model racing over this past weekend. It's what we call our Monday Digest.

There weren't many surprises in the major shows. D.J. Shaw (inset photo from Jeff Brown) has racked up numerous honors in both Super Late Models/Pro Stocks and ACT-type Late Models. Friday saw him add another one, with a wire-to-wire victory in the Granite State Pro Stock Series at Claremont Motorsports Park in New Hampshire. Elsewhere in New England, the familiar winners included Derek Griffith in Pro All Stars Series action at White Mountain Motorsports Park and Jason Corliss at Thunder Road in Barre, Vt. The White Mountain bullring did see a first-time winner in weekly action in Kyler Davis.

The upper Midwest saw Dalton Zehr win the latest Red, White & Blue feature at Wisconsin International Raceway and Jerad deBoer score another one at Marshfield Motor Speedway. The winners of shorter races in the Badger State included Brent Edmunds at Madison International Speedway and Randy Sargent and Jesse Bernhagen at Dells Raceway Park.

The longest races of the weekend were in the Northwest and Canada (since the North-South Challenge was rained out at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway). Trevor Cristiani returned to the driver's seat and won the Montana 200 at Mission Valley Super Oval, and Haley Constance scored her longest win at Evergreen Speedway. The highest number of laps was actually 237, turned by those in Serie ACT at Autodrome Chaudiere in Quebec; the winner was Raphael Lessard, a familiar name to most short-track fans in the States.

All of the results from both sides of the border, plus a handful of photos and story links where available, are below this fantastic advertiser break. Scroll down to see all of the Monday Digest! And remember that the photos and the advertisements are hyperlinked to the appropriate websites.

In two days our Wednesday Winners exclusives will include plenty from Montana, parts of New England and Wisconsin, and high-profile driver development teams at Hickory, N.C.

We apologize for not having a Friday Features edition last week; some family issues just caught up with us. We'll make up for that with a Thursday Throwback article … perhaps even two!

To continue seeing LMD releases in your email box, you'll need to subscribe at a cost of $30 per year. The cost winds up being about 27-28 cents per release.

And once you subscribe, we encourage suggestions from subscribers on topics for Thursday Throwback and Friday Features articles (Wednesday Winners subjects are more obvious). We'll also get you caught up on any you may have missed since mid-June.

Those wishing to subscribe may send checks to the address at the bottom of this email. We are also set up on Zelle and Venmo; please contact me for that information at this email address, jimcarsonlmd@gmail.com. PayPal is also an option but we'd have to email you an invoice. We will do our best to make it worth the $30 per year for the subscription.

Enjoy the rest of your week, and thank you for supporting Late Model Digest!
