Hello and Happy Monday!

Two sites received the most focus of the pavement Late Model world this weekend. South Alabama Speedway (inset drone photo from the track) and Pulaski County Motorsports Park lead off this week's Monday Digest.

At the .4-mile oval in Kinston, Ala., Ty Majeski captured his sixth victory in the Hardee's Rattler 250, extending his own record in the Super Late Model headliner. Jake Finch also repeated his 2025 triumph in the Pro Late Model feature one day earlier.

The Virginia oval formerly known as Motor Mile Speedway and New River Valley Speedway reopened after a two-year hiatus. Pulaski also welcomed the first-ever event for the IHRA Stock Car Series, a twinbill for Late Model Sportsman cars and Pro Late Models. Kyle Dudley earned $25,000 for his flag-to-flag triumph in the LMS race, while Brandon Carr exploded onto the Late Model scene with his victory in the feature for crate-engine straight-rail chassis.

Results for all of these and other races, plus story links from Pulaski and the Late Model Stock Car season opener at South Boston Speedway, are below. We also have a handful of photos, and remember that all photos on these releases are hyperlinked if the photographer has a website or other online presence. All of the advertisements are also hyperlinked.

Scroll down to see it all. We're planning exclusive stories for both South Alabama UARA-sanctioned races plus two in the Carolinas in our Wednesday Winners edition, then more from through the fields at the Rattler and the Inaugural IHRA 225 plus South Boston runner-up Conner Weddell in our Friday Features release.

To continue seeing LMD releases in your email box, you'll need to subscribe at a cost of $30 per year. The cost winds up being about 27-28 cents per release.

And once you subscribe, we encourage suggestions from subscribers on topics for Thursday Throwback and Friday Features articles (Wednesday Winners subjects are more obvious). We'll also get you caught up on any you may have missed since the start of 2026.

Those wishing to subscribe may send checks to the address at the bottom of this email. We are also set up on Zelle and Venmo; please contact me for that information at this email address, jimcarsonlmd@gmail.com. PayPal is also an option but we'd have to email you an invoice. We will do our best to make it worth the $30 per year for the subscription.

Have a great week, and thank you for supporting Late Model Digest!
