Hello and Happy Monday!

Mother's Day weekend is sometimes light on stock car racing and especially pavement Late Model action. But despite that spot on the calendar and the weather which postponed some Southeastern and New England short-track shows, there was plenty to report in this week's Monday Digest edition.

The talk of the entire racing world this weekend was probably Kaden Honeycutt (pictured chugging a beer after his final win from Saturday; image from FloRacing). The Texas native was at the Watkins Glen International road course Friday and swept the ARCA Menards Series and NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races in New York. Then last night he was at Ace Speedway in Altamahaw, N.C., and added two wins to his career totals in the zMax CARS Tour, winning in the Late Model Stock Car portion for Tom Usry Racing and the Pro Late Model early-evening race for JC Motorsports. Nothing in motorsports compared to Honeycutt's accomplishment at any point during the weekend.

The Wolverine State was a hot spot this weekend. Blake Childers added another victory to his Outlaw Late Model career at Owosso Speedway, and this one was worth $20,067 for the Bob Finley Memorial show. Brian Campbell found the winner's circle again at Berlin Raceway, and there were familiar names atop different divisions at Kalamazoo Speedway.

Other big winners from the weekend included Max Kahler at Grundy County Speedway in Illinois, Cody Stickler and Michael Goddard at Auburndale Speedway in Florida, Kenna Mitchell at All American Speedway in California, and Josh Stade and Kale Woodske north of the border.

All of the results are below, plus story links where available (Grundy, Ace, Langley Speedway in Virginia and Delaware Speedway in Ontario) and a smattering of photos. Any photo where the photographer has a website or online presence is hyperlinked, as are all of the advertisements from our fabulous supporters.

Scroll down to see it all! In two days we'll have another large Wednesday Winners release ever, looking at more than half a dozen winners starting with those in Michigan.

To continue seeing LMD releases in your email box, you'll need to subscribe at a cost of $30 per year. The cost winds up being about 27-28 cents per release.

And once you subscribe, we encourage suggestions from subscribers on topics for Thursday Throwback and Friday Features articles (Wednesday Winners subjects are more obvious). We'll also get you caught up on any you may have missed since the start of March.

Those wishing to subscribe may send checks to the address at the bottom of this email. We are also set up on Zelle and Venmo; please contact me for that information at this email address, jimcarsonlmd@gmail.com. PayPal is also an option but we'd have to email you an invoice. We will do our best to make it worth the $30 per year for the subscription.

Enjoy the rest of your week, and thank you for supporting Late Model Digest!
