Hello! We hope you're having a good weekend.

On this end the week has been good, but a little frustrating. Some family events (no one is in the hospital or anything) just reduced the LMD work time to about an hour a day since Tuesday.

We apologize for the delay. And this release has been made free to all readers.

This Wednesday Winners edition has the exclusive looks at seven of last weekend's pavement Late Model events. Two were in the Sunshine State, including Daniel Webster's duel with Stephen Nasse in the UARA Full Throttle 125 at Citrus County Speedway (cover image from Tyler Sontag/ SpeedRacer Photos) and Dylan Williams in Pro Late Model action at Auburndale Speedway.

The upper Midwest short-track season kicked off with the Icebreaker at Dells Raceway Park. In the Super Late Model side, the repeat winner was Luke Fenhaus. Super veteran John DeAngelis Jr. also won; his triumph came in the division with 602 crate engines and mostly-flat-sided bodies.

There was another Icebreaker, and even though Thompson Speedway's traditional season opener is headlined by modifieds, Matt Lowinski-Loh felt good about the field of Late Models which he topped. In Virginia, Tucker Jones and Doug Warren had their own stories to tell after winning in Limited Late Model competition. And we also have the insights from Ethan Ebert's triumph in the annual Apple Cup, the lidlifter for the Northwest Super Late Model Series at Tri-City Raceway.

To continue seeing LMD releases in your email box, you'll need to subscribe at a cost of $30 per year. The cost winds up being about 27-28 cents per release.

And once you subscribe, we encourage suggestions from subscribers on topics for Thursday Throwback and Friday Features articles (Wednesday Winners subjects are more obvious). We'll also get you caught up on any you may have missed since the start of March.

Those wishing to subscribe may send checks to the address at the bottom of this email. We are also set up on Zelle and Venmo; please contact me for that information at this email address, jimcarsonlmd@gmail.com. PayPal is also an option but we'd have to email you an invoice. We will do our best to make it worth the $30 per year for the subscription.

We wish you a terrific remainder of the weekend, and we'll be back on the regular LMD schedule next week, beginning with the results in the Monday Digest. There will also be a Thursday Throwback in one of the next three weeks.

Enjoy the rest of your week! Thank you for supporting Late Model Digest.
