Good evening!
We have eight reports in this week's Wednesday Winners edition with exclusive insights and quotes.
The biggest Outlaw Late Model race from last weekend was the annual Growler 100 at Whittemore Speedway in Michigan. John King gave the fans and teams a thrill with his late pass on veteran Steve Needles (cover image from Black Cauldron Photography).
The biggest victory by a home-track favorite came in the Late Model Sportsman half of the IHRA Stock Car Series visit to Anderson Motor Speedway in Williamston, S.C. Neil Meredith, who has raced at Anderson in various divisions for nearly 30 years, earned his signature Late Model triumph and a $10,000 payday.
From the upper Midwest, Michael Bilderback won at Slinger Super Speedway in Wisconsin for the first time in a dozen years. This triumph came in the All-Star Limited Late Model Challenge, and track points leader Zack Riddle was certainly up to the challenge. Also from that region, Michael Ostdiek won the Late Model race at Elko Speedway in Minnesota, on the same night as that bullring's annual visit from the ARCA Menards Series. And an upper-Midwesterner made good in the Tar Heel State, as Michigan upper peninsula native Cameron Clifford won in the Carolina Pro Late Model Series at Hickory Motor Speedway.
The other winners profiled in these pages (remember that in midweek we focus on races which did not have story links available on Monday) were in Colorado and Canada. Kody Vanderwal rolled in the Rocky Mountains, while Kelly Balson triumphed in Ontario and Kyle Wade and Mark Berriau won bookend shows in British Columbia.

Due to the late hour, this Wednesday release was made free to the public. To continue seeing LMD releases in your email box, you'll need to subscribe at a cost of $30 per year. The cost winds up being about 27-28 cents per release.
And once you subscribe, we encourage suggestions from subscribers on topics for Thursday Throwback and Friday Features articles (Wednesday Winners subjects are more obvious). We'll also get you caught up on any you may have missed since the beginning of June.
Those wishing to subscribe may send checks to the address at the bottom of this email. We are also set up on Zelle and Venmo; please contact me for that information at this email address, jimcarsonlmd@gmail.com. PayPal is also an option but we'd have to email you an invoice. We will do our best to make it worth the $30 per year for the subscription.
Enjoy the rest of your week! Thank you for supporting Late Model Digest.
