Good evening!
The largest field of pavement Late Models in any race from the past week was actually on a Wednesday, one week ago at Kil-Kare Raceway in Xenia OH. Travis Braden's path to a $15,000 victory - a path with several twists and turns before and after the Dayton 100 - make up our cover story in this week's Wednesday Winners edition (inset image from John Lund).
We've highlighted seven other winners from last weekend for exclusive coverage. In one case we've gone against our normal procedure, because the Keith Morse Memorial event at Riverside Speedway in Groveton NH did have a story link in our Monday Digest two days ago, but this event and the family history of winner Justin Prescott deserved a look from a different angle.
You can also check out the first Berlin Raceway triumph for Michigan driver Dylan Stovall, a signature win in the Northwest for Max Schroeder, an extended-distance special for Nick Hinkley in Maine, and a first-timer in Chris Buffone in Connecticut (with familiar names in his family too).
Last weekend was also huge for special Late Model events in Canada. Two stood out to us, by Jeff Cote in Quebec and Nolan Perry in British Columbia, largely because of the superstar drivers each winner outdueled.
Click on the cover image, or scroll down to the large-type underlined link at the bottom, to see a few more priceless photos and to read this week's Wednesday Winners! Then look for a couple of closer looks, plus plenty of photos from Wisconsin, in our Friday Features edition (and definitely earlier in the day than today's release). Enjoy the rest of your week!
