 The Villager provided over 30,000 lbs of BIOSOL to Truckee/Tahoe Gardeners this summer. BIOSOL� is an All Natural Organic Fertilizer made from fungal-digested cottonseed and soy bean meals.  Fall Watering
Thanks to the "we have no shortage but we are in a severe drought" letter from our PUD many people DID cut back on water and it helped fall colors around town. Do not let your plants dry out. Snow slowly melts into the soil and may reach a little deeper than rain. Water is essential for the explosive fall root growth of deciduous trees and shrubs. All plant cells need some water all the time. Water new plantings at least once a month even after November if we are lacking substantial snow.
