June 2019
Dear Friend:

Just the other day, I took an exploratory drive with Maurice Jones, our New York-based CEO, to a few of the neighborhoods we serve, such as City Heights, Barrio Logan and Encanto.

For both of us, the drive provided a first-hand gauge of the visible progress that's made in these neighborhoods. Equally so, it was evident that much work needs to be done.

Often, looking with fresh eyes brings a renewed sense of hope and purpose. That in mind, we're proud to introduce our new LISC logo, which appears above.

Also, we're proud to be expanding our county-wide footprint with a new partnership with the National City Chamber of Commerce, as outlined below.

As we head into summer, we thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,
Ricardo Flores
Executive Director
