Here's What You Need to Know for Major MCCUO Rules in Toms River

 

Effective July, 1, 2022, any residential property being sold or transferring title in Toms River Township must have applied for and received a clear Municipal Certificate of Continued Use and Occupancy (MCCUO) Certificate, or have an exemption letter. Remember, a MCCUO must be provided for any closing on or after July 1, regardless of when the property was listed or went under contract.

Master New Lead Paint Laws with These Simple Clarifications Today

 

Beginning July 22, 2022, lead paint inspection and remediation will be required for residential one- and two-family rental properties built before 1978 upon tenant turnover or by July 24, 2024 if there is no tenant turnover.
