On Saturday, October 15, we held our annual fundraiser recognizing the historic merger of Uplift Family Services and Pacific Clinics. This year’s Champion of Mental Health was Clark Gregg, an award-winning actor, director, screenwriter and mental health advocate best known for his role as Agent Coulson in Marvel films. Also honored were two employees, Senior Director of Training Beth Jenks, Ph.D. and Manager of Administrative Services Alma Gomez. The event, which took place at the Millennium Biltmore in Downtown Los Angeles, raised over $580,000 for our Housing and Hollygrove programs.
ABC7 Eyewitness News Anchors Ellen Leyva and David Ono served as the masters of ceremonies, and Ike Barinholtz, a comedian, actor, writer, producer and director presented an award to one of Pacific Clinics’ employees.
