340 BABIES TAKES A TEAM TO DELIVER
Did you know that MCHC offers complete prenatal services?
In 2016, 340 mothers who were patients at Manchester Community Health Center welcomed their newborns. With over 16,000 patients in Greater Manchester, MCHC offers family-centered prenatal care including free, walk-in pregnancy testing, prenatal care at two locations in the city, and round-the-clock phone support for pregnant patients. Most forms of insurance are accepted, and MCHC offers low-cost options for patients who qualify.
In addition to nurse-midwife Dorice Reitchel, moms can get help from nutritionist Sandy Bryant on breastfeeding and receive educational visits from a home visiting nurse from the Manchester Health Department. And MCHC now offers weekly childbirth classes to its patients, presented by a certified childbirth educator.

NANCY EVANS RETIRES AFTER 12 YEARS WITH SMP
On June 27, with an epic potluck and a sing-along parody of the Eagles' "Already Gone," staff at Child Health Services at MCHC bid a fond farewell to newly retired Nancy Evans, after 12 years in our child development clinic.
Nancy was part of Special Medical Programs at MCHC, a Health Care Coordination Program serving Hillsborough, Rockingham, and Strafford Counties. Coordination services are provided to any family with a child (birth - 21 years of age) with special health care needs.
