From the Desk of the President & CEO

As August begins, it almost feels like the start of a new year. With summer winding down and schools welcoming students back, there is a renewed sense of excitement and opportunity across our community. The same is true at the Enid Chamber as we continue exploring new ways to connect with our members, strengthen our business climate, and support a high quality of life in the greater Enid area.

This month brings plenty to celebrate, from new businesses opening their doors and ribbon cuttings across the community to welcoming new educators and looking ahead to exciting infrastructure and community initiatives. We invite you to join us throughout the month as we continue building relationships, supporting local businesses, and creating opportunities that benefit Enid. Thank you for allowing us to be your partner as we work together toward an even stronger future.

Investing Beyond Membership: Community Development Partners

Every day, the Greater Enid Chamber is creating opportunities for businesses to grow, leaders to connect, and our community to move forward. While Chamber membership makes that work possible, our Community Development Partners choose to invest beyond membership to expand our impact.

Their support strengthens business advocacy, community partnerships, military support, and signature Chamber programs while helping us continue initiatives that enhance Enid's economic climate and quality of life. In return, Community Development Partners receive year-round recognition through Chamber events, publications, digital marketing, and sponsorship opportunities.

Every Community Development Partner sends a clear message: our business believes in Enid and is willing to invest in its continued success. If you're interested in learning how your business can increase its impact and visibility through the CDP program, we'd love to visit with you. Call us today at (580) 237-2494.

Voice of Business: Turning Feedback Into Action

The Enid Chamber's Voice of Business initiative is now underway, and we invite every business in the greater Enid area to participate. Through a community-wide business survey, targeted industry roundtables, and one-on-one conversations, we're working to better understand the opportunities, challenges, and priorities facing our business community.

The Business Survey is open to all businesses, regardless of Chamber membership, because a stronger business climate benefits our entire community. Beginning this month, Chamber members will also have the opportunity to participate in industry-specific listening sessions, creating meaningful dialogue around the issues affecting their industries.

This initiative goes beyond gathering feedback - your input will help guide the Chamber’s programs, advocacy efforts, and strategic priorities while strengthening how we support businesses at the local, state, and federal levels, and will be compiled into a Voice of Business Report, to be released in January 2027. Whether through the survey, a roundtable, or a business visit, your voice will help shape the decisions we make and the work we do for the greater Enid business community.
