Perfect parade weather set the scene for the 131st Anniversary Cherokee Strip Celebration parade. The majestic Slash-O-Ranch Longhorns sponsored by Cowboy Bank led the parade. Paul Allen and family, Bill and Sissy Mayberry, Scott and Kristy Pendleton, and Jay Hobrecht represented David Allen Memorial Ballpark along with past Northern Oklahoma College baseball coaches, Raydon Leaton, Scott Manfield and present coach, Ryan Bay were featured as parade marshals commemorating the ballpark's 25th Anniversary.
St. Paul's Lutheran School was awarded $500 for first place in the non-profit division. Mitchell-DeClerck, PLLC were recognized as the first-place commercial division parade entry. They chose Foster Feet, Inc. as the recipient of the $500 prize donation.
