The Cost of Living Index measures relative price levels for consumer goods and services in participating areas. The average for all participating places, both metropolitan and non-metropolitan, equals 100, and each participant's index is read as a percentage of the average for all places. The composite index is based on six components - housing, utilities, grocery items, transportation, health care and miscellaneous goods and services.

Ribbon Cutting
The Chamber Ambassadors held a Ribbon Cutting October 14, 2021 for 2nd Home Adult Daycare located at 2006 West Willow Road in Enid. They are open Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. providing structure, supervision, activities, meals and snacks for adults that require supervision. They cater to a variety of needs including daily and hourly options and have options for payment assistance.
Ground Breaking for Bluepeak
Bluepeak broke ground on October 21, 2021 on a $23M fiber network expansion that will bring high quality, high-speed broadband and video services to nearly 23,000 homes and businesses in Enid.

Enid home to world's tallest fresh cut Christmas tree
ENID, Okla. - Standing at 140 feet, the world’s tallest fresh cut Christmas tree is sponsored by The One. It is in place downtown Enid on Park Avenue between Grand and Independence. The tree was damaged by strong winds on October 27th. The damaged limbs will be reattached later this month when the tree is decorated in time to make its debut during the Enid Lights Up the Plains Event on November 26th.
