Enlisted Appreciation Night Set for April 23
On Saturday, April 23 the Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee will host the enlisted personnel at Vance Air Force Base for Enlisted Appreciation Night. This is the 53rd year for the event and it is widely recognized by the Air Force as one of the finest demonstrations of support and appreciation for enlisted personnel. Vance Air Force Base has a tremendous impact on Enid’s economy and quality of life. This event provides the Enid business community an opportunity to show their support for Vance and the enlisted men and woman who contribute greatly to the mission.

Enlisted personnel enjoy an evening of food, games and prizes. The event would not be possible without the generosity and support of our local businesses. If your business or organization would like to support Enlisted Appreciation Night through a cash or prize donation, please contact Lori Coonrod, Membership and Special Events Director at the Chamber (580) 237-2494 or lori@enidchamber.com.

Ribbon Cutting at The Willows
The Enid Chamber Ambassadors held a ribbon cutting on March 10 at The Willows Apartments, 1410 W. Willow. The sixty-unit complex has been open for residents since the end of December. They offer affordable housing for all ages with one-, two- and three-bedroom options available. The complex offers fifty percent and sixty percent housing, which means a person must make 50-60% of the official government "housing wage" standard to live there.
