Hospice of Santa Barbara is proud to honor our outstanding community heroes at the 6th annual Heroes of Hospice “Jewels by the Sea” luncheon at the Four Seasons Biltmore, Coral Casino next month.

On Wednesday, September 12, we will recognize Teddy Bear Cancer Foundation, Cottage Children's Medical Center: Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, Montecito Bank & Trust, Organic Soup Kitchen, and Marybeth Carty, the Executive Director of the Natalie Orfalea Foundation.

These organizations and individuals play a vital role in service to our community and in supporting our goal of providing care to anyone experiencing the impact of serious illness or the death of a loved one. These Heroes are part of the fabric of the work we do at Hospice of Santa Barbara.

We hope you will join us next month in celebrating these local heroes.

of fear-based thinking..."

She retired as Music Academy of the West’s Grants Manager, where she founded the MERIT Program. Margaret enjoys using the rhythm of language to create lyric poetry.

The Five Invitations: Workshops Explore Mindful and Meaningful Living
A Reflection by Jeanne West
"On March 22, 2018 nearly 800 people filled the Marjorie Luke Theatre in Santa Barbara to see and hear Frank Ostaseski, author and world-traveled lecturer. Though some wondered if it could be done, we managed to surpass our greatest expectations, especially given the events of the previous several months of fires and floods.
