Dr. Jurek is fellowship-trained and Board Certified in orthopedic surgery and actively practicing in Seattle, WA. Her robust clinical practice focuses primarily on shoulder surgery, while also including sports medicine, orthopedic, and trauma surgery.
Dr. Jurek completed her residency in 2011 and two orthopaedic surgery fellowships, her Sports Medicine Fellowship at Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group with Dr. Bert Mandelbaum in 2012, and her Advanced Shoulder and Elbow Open and Arthroscopic Fellowship at Kerlan Jobe Clinic in Los Angeles with Dr. John Itamura in 2013.
Dr. Jurek regularly performs complex shoulder replacement and shoulder fracture repair surgeries, as well as arthroscopic shoulder surgeries, including rotator cuff repair and stabilization procedures. She has extensive training in treating athletes on the professional, collegiate, high school, and weekend warrior levels.
Dr. Jurek is available through NWME for expert opinion, testimony, and legal consultation in all areas of orthopedic surgery.
