Dr. Bjerke is a fellowship-trained, board certified orthopedic spine surgeon actively practicing in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. His medical training includes both neurosurgical and orthopedic spine surgery from Mayo Clinic, Columbia, and Cornell Universities. He has provided expert testimony in over 50 legal cases involving neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery. Dr. Bjerke will travel to various locations to conduct exams or provide court testimony.
 
His practice and expertise include all areas of modern spine surgery: fusion, decompression, ACDF, ALIF, TLIF, XLIF, scoliosis, spinal cord stimulators, and minimally invasive, complex and revision surgery.

Dr. Bjerke has authored publications in " Spine", "The Spine Journal" , and many other peer-reviewed journals, and he has shared his research in over 30 national and international meeting presentations. Dr. Bjerke takes pride in describing complex issues involving spine care in a way that is relatable and understandable to his patients and legal clients.
