Transforming Classrooms into 21st Century Learning Environments
Kennedy, Meadows, and Shirakawa Elementary Schools received new iPads to transform classrooms into technologically rich and highly engaging learning environments. The addition of new technology will assure equitable access for all staff and students. Additionally, it will provide a safe, flexible, and effective learning environment for all students using technology in order to increase academic achievement.

Parents, grandparents and other caregivers can do so much to support reading development. In this article, we offer some fun tips that you can do throughout the year to make reading a regular and enjoyable part of your family routine. November 8, 2016 is voting day and we want to remind all parents, guardians, and friends of FMSD to exercise your right to vote. We teach our children the value of civic and community engagement through various lessons and activities during the school year. FMSD will have various polling places on election day.
