The Tech Garden's new Making It Happen podcast now has more than ten local entrepreneur interviews and over 350 active listeners. The two latest episodes include GENIUS NY finalist BotsAndUs, a robotics startup making its way here from the United Kingdom; and EcoBaggeez, a Cazenovia startup that makes sustainable sandwich bags.

CenterState CEO has partnered with NewsChannel 9 WSYR to recognize the efforts of the CNY business community in moving the economy forward as the state restarts after an historic pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Akrobotix has designed a new software for detecting masks. The plug and play device is loaded with an AI engine that can distinguish between humans with/without a mask on their face and gently alerts the passing by human to wear a mask, if they aren't covering their face. The device is now available for interested companies.
Promptous is a Syracuse-based technology company that administers Policy Hero, a member-first mobile and web platform. The startup has been identified by LaunchNY as a high-impact startup and will use the Launch NY funding to support the company’s product development activities.
TruWeather Solutions recently hired two meteorologists who graduated from SUNY Oswego this past spring. The 2018 GENIUS NY finalist now has 11 working out of The Tech Garden.
BotsAndUs, a current GENIUS NY finalist growing roots in Central New York, provides full-stack robot systems for public spaces. The company closed a $6 million equity funding round led by Kindred Capital and Capnamic Ventures, with participation from angel investors from the U.K. and the U.S.
