Celebrating Women's History Month

The story of Aspirus is filled with trailblazing women. They brought health care to rural communities, helped establish hospitals, and even snowshoed into the wilderness to reach patients.

We honor them this Women’s History Month and celebrate the talented women across Aspirus today whose achievements inspire and uplift us.

Answer the question correctly and you'll be entered into a drawing for a prize.

Week 3: Smart Snacking Tips

Read the Article

True or False? A snack around 200 calories is a reasonable goal for most people.

Pick your answer for a chance to win a prize!

False

Week 2 Prize Winners

True or False? Buying foods in season and shopping locally can help the planet and help to keep costs down. Answer: TRUE! By shopping locally, you are purchasing goods produced in your local community. Conversely, when you shop at the grocery store, many of the food items you buy travel over 1500 miles to reach your plate. By cutting down on these miles, you are reducing the environmental impact of your food.

Everyone who answered correctly was entered into a random drawing for 500 Reward & Recognition points. Congratulations to:

  • Alexandria Lampe, Aspirus Inc.
  • Alison Tait, Aspirus Langlade
  • Jessica Oleson, Aspirus Wausau
  • Miriam Walimaki, Aspirus Regional Cancer Center - Wausau
  • Steve Johnson, Aspirus Wausau
