Special Cooper City Commission Meeting
City Commission Approves Redistricting Map, Allowing for Ordinance on First Reading

The City Commission requested a slight adjustment to one of the alternatives presented in regard to redistricting. The map, which still requires further approval, provides for more of a quadrant approach to the district map, and also improves compactness and population equity among the districts.

Thanksgiving Break Camp
Our Recreation Department will be holding special camp for students from kindergarten through eighth grade during the Thanksgiving (Nov. 22 - 24) break at the Community Center. Registration now available at the Community Center and Pool and Tennis Center. Non-resident registration opens on Nov. 15. More information.

Residents: $90 for full camp / $80 per additional child
Non-residents: $135 for full camp / $125 for additional child

Protect Your Online Purchase Deliveries From Porch Pirates
This free delivery protection program begins this Saturday, November 20, and continues through December 24, 2021. You must register.

Operation Front Porch is here to help prevent “porch pirates,” who target your holiday packages while you’re not home. Our BSO Cooper City team offers the police station as a safe delivery location for your holiday packages. It’s a simple and free service for Cooper City residents.

Bulk may be placed out no earlier than 24 hours before scheduled pick up collection. Items placed curbside outside of the designated collection schedule will be subject to violation. Bulk trash includes large household trash that does not fit in roll-out carts or bags. No black bags will be collected with bulk.

File for Property Tax Exemptions at the Community Center
Broward County Property Appraiser's office will set-up a mobile office at the Pool and Tennis Center tomorrow, Friday, November 19. More details.

They regularly are here at the Cooper City Community Center on the second Tuesday of the month from 12 noon to 2 p.m., next stop is Tuesday, December 14.


Blood Mobile is Back at the Cooper City Pool and Tennis Center
