Cooper City's Strategic Plan Workshop
The City Commission held a workshop on Tuesday, February 1, to discuss the development of Cooper City's Strategic Plan. The City Commission reviewed the draft plan and made some additions to the objectives and strategic priorities. The draft plan will now be modified and finalized.

Chief among the discussion on Tuesday evening was residents' input on the desire for a city center and better connectivity within the city. Through the strategic plan, work will begin to find a potential path that could be brought before residents.

Residents and businesses across Cooper City received a utility bill in the mail today. As detailed in a previous communication, there was a delay in delivery due to an error by the vendor responsible for printing and mailing utility bills.

This most recent bill should have arrived in a white envelope, unlike the usual postcard which Cooper City Utility Customers are accustomed to. Please note, the City is not assessing late penalties of any kind on utility bills.

To help answer potential questions, please see a list of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).

If you have a question not listed in the FAQ, please send an email to UtilityBilling@CooperCityFL.org.

An email will allow our Utility Billing Customer Service team to provide assistance in the fastest and most efficient way possible.
Community Assistance Available from the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021
Cooper City has received funds as a part of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 to be used to facilitate the community’s recovery from the devastating economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Specifically, the Cooper City Grant Program is intended to support small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals who have experienced loss of income or other negative economic impacts from 2019 to 2020 or from 2020 to 2021. These are one-time grants that do not need to be repaid.

Applications for residential mortgage and rent, residential utilities, nonprofits and small business assistance open on March 1, 2022 and close on August 31, 2022. Assistance will be provided on a first-come, first qualified, first-served basis to eligible applicants with complete applications.
