9/11, A Day of Service and Remembrance
A Message from Mayor Greg Ross
Dear Friends and Neighbors,

This Sunday will mark the 21st anniversary of the terror attacks on 9/11. In memory of the 2,977 innocent lives taken on that fateful day, we will honor the victims with a National Day of Service and Remembrance.

On this “Patriot Day,” help us inspire unity and carry out an act of kindness. Whether participating in a 9/11 commemoration or helping a neighbor, there is something each of us can do to carry on the memory of those killed on September 11, 2001.

By uniting as one, as we did 21 years ago, we can lift each other up and serve the greater good. May we also take time to honor the sacrifices made that day by remembering the heroes, first responders, our armed forces, and the countless acts of service that have helped defend our nation’s freedom.

I hope this National Day of Service and Remembrance calls you to extend a hand, overcome differences, and create relationships that help inspire a lifetime of service.

Sincerely,

Mayor Greg Ross
