Spotlight on New Mexico PTA Board Members

Stephanie Hansen is your 2019-2021 Health & Wellness Chairperson.  She has a Masters of Science in Nutrition, and was a health educator for a Minnesota hospital, specifically coordinating outreach to high school students.  Currently, she is the operations manager for a local yoga school, as well as one of the lead teachers.  She has 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 children (3rd and 6th grade).  She was once a U.S. Naval Officer, where she met her husband in Charleston, South Carolina.
Stephanie truly believes that our health is the foundation of all we do; we must take care of our bodies and minds if we are to excel and be fruitful in this lifetime.

"When health is absent, wisdom cannot reveal itself, art cannot manifest, strength cannot fight, wealth becomes useless, and intelligence cannot be applied."
-Herophilus
