CEO ANN DRAKE DELIVERS KEYNOTE AT KELLOGG EXECUTIVE MBA CONVOCATION
DSC Logistics CEO Ann Drake was the speaker for the Executive MBA Convocation of the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, December 15. Ann earned her MBA from the Kellogg School of Management.

In her speech, Ann Drake told the audience, "Today, leadership is about values and tough choices and longer-term sustainability of our enterprises...and...beyond that, of our country and our world."

Ann shared her ideas about leadership trends and the "criticality of the all." She explained, "Great business leaders are going to need to look beyond narrow interests. They're going to need to see holistically that, today, our globe is one giant system...and the parts of the system have to work together. And we're going to have to collaborate - now and in the future - across silos and boundaries and countries and disciplines. We're going to have to bring together the best and brightest leaders from business and government and the nonprofit sector."

Ann said, "The world is looking for leaders who see beyond what's right in front of them. Who see that we're all part of a global system. Who recognize and embrace what's new and what's changing. Who are agile and open. Who are ready to collaborate and lead." And she ended by telling the Kellogg EMBA graduates, "You...are exactly who the world is looking for." Read more...
