CHICAGO ARCHITECTURE FOUNDATION RAISING FUNDS FOR NEW CENTER
The Chicago Architecture Foundation ( Lynn Osmond) has just launched a $10 million campaign to pay for its new architecture center, which will be located inside Mies van der Rohe's One Illinois Center. The 20,000-square-foot project, steps from the Chicago River at 111 East Wacker Drive, will host lectures, educational programming, and other events for industry professionals and visitors alike. Most notably, the renovations will increase the CAF's exhibition space from 1,600 to nearly 10,000 square feet.

Andrea Zopp, CEO, World Business Chicago, recently participated in an interview with Crain's Chicago Business where she shared what she likes and doesn't like about Chicago, items on her bucket list, the funniest thing that's ever happened to her in the city, and more.

TYSON FOODS PARTNERS WITH 1871 AND PLUG AND PLAY
Tyson Foods ( Sally Grimes) announced partnerships with local tech incubator 1871 and Plug and Play, an innovation platform and accelerator in Silicon Valley, as it aims to connect and collaborate with startup and tech companies.

Elizabeth Richter, a strategic communications consultant and member of the Graham School's Advisory Council, wrote an article, Dispatch from Academia, published in Classic Chicago Magazine, that highlights the University of Chicago's Graham School and its Master of Liberal Arts Program .

JANICE EBERLY ELECTED TO BOARD OF THE TIAA-CREF MUTUAL FUNDS
Janice Eberly, James R. & Helen Russell Distinguished Professor Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, has been elected to Board of the TIAA-CREF Mutual Funds. TIAA has a trillion dollars in assets under management and is included among the World's Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere.

THE CHICAGO URBAN LEAGUE RELEASES 2017 ANNUAL REPORT - CENTENNIAL EDITION
The Chicago Urban League has released its 2017 Centennial Annual Report, which highlights milestones in the League's history, as well as the impact of their work on the lives of people in Chicago today.  The report also  includes a message from Maria C.
