The Wall Street Journal logo DELOITTE ANNOUNCES 16 WEEKS OF FULLY PAID FAMILY LEAVE TIME FOR CAREGIVING
Beginning this month, Deloitte (Deborah L. DeHaas, Janet Foutty and Stacy Janiak) professionals - from the parent celebrating the arrival of a new child, to the professional caring for a spouse or significant other, to the professional supporting aging parents - will have an extra layer of support from Deloitte's new family leave program. Men and women alike will now be eligible for up to 16 weeks of fully paid family leave to support a range of life events impacting them and their families. Also unde r this family leave program, mothers who give birth to a child are eligible for up to six months of paid time off when factoring in short-term disability for childbirth. Read more...

NATIONAL BUILDING MUSEUM PICKS STUDIO GANG FOR 2017 SUMMER INSTALLATION
The National Building Museum has announced Studio Gang Architects ( Jeanne Gang) as the designers of the 2017 Summer Block Party Installation. Jeanne has also served as an adviser for the Museum's Intelligent Cities project.

"It's great to return to the National Building Museum, where our Marble Curtain was such an important early project for Studio Gang, one that informed our thinking about material innovation and research," remarked Jeanne Gang in a press release. "We are looking forward to building on the legacy and energy of the summer series, in the historic space of the Museum's Great Hall."

Details will be announced in early 2017, with a public opening planned for July 4th through Labor Day 2017. Read more!

LAURA WASHINGTON ON KERRY JAMES MARSHALL AND MCA EXHIBIT
Laura Washington wrote an article in the Chicago Sun-Times about Kerry James Marshall, an artist well-known for his large-scale paintings and sculptures centered around African-American life and history. His latest show, "Mastry," is on view at Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art ( Madeleine Grynsztejn) until September 25. Read more...

CARA HIGHLIGHTED IN MSNBC WEBISODE
A recent MSNBC webisode featured Cara student Alton Mills, who was one of 95 individuals President Obama granted clemency to in December of last year and was referred to Cara (Maria Kim) upon release by his US Probation Officer. Alton was originally sentenced to life in prison after his third non-violent drug offense over two decades ago. MSNBC has been following Alton's story since his initial release and has committed to a three-part webisode about his story and his re-entry into society.
