LISA MADIGAN PRODUCES GUIDE OF BENEFITS FOR VETERANS
Attorney General Lisa Madigan has issued an updated guide of benefits for Illinois veterans and their families in recognition of Veterans Day. The "Benefits for Illinois Veterans" guide was created by her Military and Veterans' Rights Bureau to provide veterans and their families with information regarding federal and state veteran benefit laws. The updated version is available online at Lisa Madigan's website.
"The people who served in the military have, along with their families, made tremendous sacrifices on behalf of our country, and they are entitled to benefits for their service," said Lisa Madigan. Read more...
SUSANA MENDOZA AND PETS FOR VETS
PAWS Chicago and state Comptroller Susana Mendoza offered a Veterans Day program with the help of several sponsors. Military veterans were able to adopt a cat or dog on Veterans day at a designated shelter with no adoption fee thanks to the "Pets for Vets " program created by Susana. "So many different veterans, their lives have literally been saved by an animal that they've rescued," said Susana Mendoza. Read more...

STACY JANIAK NAMED CHIEF CLIENT OFFICER OF DELOITTE
Deloitte LLP ( Deborah L. DeHaas, Janet Foutty and Stacy Janiak) announced this week that Stacy Janiak has been named Chief Client Officer of Deloitte. In this newly created role, Stacy will help drive the lifecycle of relationship development, bringing the full depth and breadth of Deloitte's capabilities to its clients. She maintains her audit client responsibilities by serving as the lead client service partner on an SEC registrant, and as the advisory partner on a number of significant clients. Stacy also serves on Deloitte's Board of Directors. During her 25-year tenure with Deloitte, Stacy has served clients across several industries, particularly within the consumer product and retail sectors. She is a strong advocate of Deloitte's Inclusion and Empowered Well-being programs and supports the successful advancement of women professionals and their leadership development. She serves on the Board of Trustees for DePaul University and as chair of its Audit Committee, and is a board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Chicago.
